Reverse bears Ship Room Western Australia cds of the following day. AAMC 181, this flight in the Southern Cross piloted by Charles Kingsford Smith. The 1/4d is rare on cover. Nice commercial use hand addressed cover. Central fold and tiny tear at base do not detract. Price $295
AFC343) Australia 1931 First Experimental Flight Cover to Norway via London. Printed Imperial Airways Airmail Envelope bears solo use 2/- small multi. wmk. Cancelled by Adelaide cds of 21AP31. Reverse bears Violet Australia – England flight cachet together with Oslo Bureau AMB cds of 15.V.31 and Oslo arrival cds’s of the following day. Scarce destination. Probable commercial use, the stamp catalogues at $300 on cover. AAMC 188zi, this flight in the Southern Cross piloted by Charles Kingsford Smith. Neat hand addressed cover. Light Horiz. Bears bearing KGV5 1/4d & 5d Chestnut small multi. wmk. plus 2d Kingsford Smith, each cancelled by a Wagga Wagga cds of 11MY31. Reverse bears Ship Room Western Australia cds of the following day. AAMC 203, this flight in a DH66 Hercules piloted by Hudson Fysh. The 1/4d is rare on cover. Nice typed address cover. Price $179
AFC21) November 1931 ANA Special Air Mail Flight Australia-England, franked with 6d Air Mail overprinted OS (x2) and 2d Kingsford Smith. A little soiled on reverse AAMC222. Price $195
AFC48) 25 May 1931 ANA daily airmail flight Tasmania-Victoria, franked with 3d airmail and 2d KGV head. Somewhat soiled. ANA ceased operations one month later AAMC208. Price $75
AFC139) August 1935 Australian Continental Airways Darwin-Adelaide Queensland Air Mail Society cover, franked with 2d and 3d(x2) Silver Jubilees. Hinge marks on reverse and minor aging. This flight was fraught with bad luck, and the service ended two months later AAMC523. Price $49
