Collections and lots

CNO1) Monaco. M & U stamp collection, 1958 to 1974 in 2 x green German ''LIGHTHOUSE'' stockbooks - SG value £1,321 = $A2,600 Mint Unhinged and used sets of each set in many cases. Owner had a ''standing order'' at the Monaco Bureau it looks like to me. Some a little adhered to pages and a few aged, but most appear to lift easily with tweezers and cause no damage. as often occurs with this thick European climate gum! No big deal on Monaco really, as used are same cat as mint in most cases. So a few little condition issues among it, so priced accordingly. Lots of sets are superb MUH, and superb used, of course - even in the high cat stuff. Offered untouched as received - nothing removed. Superb lot for someone to spend a little time on, and re-house etc. For an Ebay re-seller, a Goldmine lot - this era is NOT around in bulk anywhere globally – the late 1970s is when the Stamp Boom buying started. A double or triple your money option. Monaco is a country almost NEVER seen offered here in Australia, in a large run. Current 2019 SG cat is £1,321 = $A2,600 - all neatly noted on each row, in erasable pencil, for your easy checking and working with. Priced at around 22.5% cat. $595

AN INFERNO.
New Farm Timber Yard Burnt.
TWO ACRES OF FLAME.
Firemen Battle Against Great Odds. In a devastating fire which swept through the timber yard of Rosenfeld and Co. The damage covered two acres, and is
estimated at £25,000. The fire was the most spectacular in Brisbane for years,
and the leaping flames, which burst 100 feet in the air, were
seen by thousands of people in almost every quarter of the
city. Full story here: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/articl HYPERLINK "https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/21670945"e/21670945
