1. Old Tyme World Collection 1840s-1960s in very thick vintage “Century Postage Album” with in strength in British Colonial material (particularly British Africa) and European 19th century issues. Some of the better items sighted includes GB with 1d Black (almost 4 margins), later QV to 10/-, KEVII to 10/-, BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA with COGH Hope surcharges & KEVII to 5/-, Griqualand, Natal 3d Rose (SG.4) tied to piece (Cat.£500), Pietersburg 1901 1/- (4), Transvaal with few early Arms types, QV sideface 3d, 4d & 6d, later Arms to 2/6d, QV Revenues to 10/-, German States with better Imperfs from Hamburg, Prussia & Saxony. World Pre-1900 collection in antique illustrated hardbound “Senf” maroon, Gold & Black album in good cond. for its age (spine needs a repair) Nothing has been removed (incl the few hideously damaged!) & Careful inspection will reveal more, good, highly catalogued items than may appear at a quick glance. GB incls. A spacefiller 1d black, letter D E, useful officials incl “I.R.” 6d grey, 1½d, 6d, 9d & 1/- “Govt Parcels”, other surface printed incl 1883/84 “Lilac & greens” with true colour 9d pair! 6d single & all other vals in better than average cond. Also 5/- plate 2 & 1891 £1 green sound with pen cancel, Netherlands 1852 imperfs, 1864 10c & 15c, 1870 5c & 10c Postage Due, Norway 1856 2sk & 3sk King Oscar, 1872-75 1sk, 3sk, 4sk & 6sk post horns. 3. Europe in $85 64 Black Page Lion Brand Black stockbook as new. Contains very nice clean collection of Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary & Poland, most used postally or cto. Good range of thematics, all appear different and most are large pictorials. 1000 to 1100 all up. Price $269 (CF1)
 

4. NZ plus some AAT, Cocos &  Christmas Is. Queen Victoria to 2008 in Red 32 black page Lindner stockbook. Most used a few mint or cto. Very good collection in nice clean condition, ordered by date. Bulk lot of Australia in stockbooks, cover albums, loose, in packets etc. Starts  with a few KGV Heads, then plenty of pre-decimal and decimal used, with many better values through to fairly recent. 12. Royal Commonwealth Society 1977 Queen’s Jubilee FDC collection in superb padded Silver & Red album. Contains 50 + Commonwealth unaddressed FDC’s with descriptive text. Better condition than we usually see these. 45 years old now, doesn’t time fly! Cheap at $98! (CF9)
 

13. Worldwide amazing array of items on piece, 1880’s – 1940’s in $75 32 page luxury Lighthouse Padded Red Block Album, near new. Many with 3 – 6 stamps on each piece, inc. blocks. Many better countries, inc. Australia with Kangaroos, dues  & KGV to 1/-, Sweden inc. coils, Germany, India, GB with Seahorses to 5/-, USA inc. Bullseye cancels etc.,  Straits Settlements,  Hong Kong, Malaya Tigers, Netherlands Indies, Thailand, NZ, etc. 320 pieces with at least 1000 stamps. Then 3 other small plain FDCs cancelled Chadstone Vic, & Bedgerebong NSW. Plus 4  different Royal FDC’s with full sets  or minisheets asl 2 x Sigma FDC’s. Various sets and minisheets mint & used, inc. Anpex x 5 some with special cancels, 1 x Rouletted, 3 x Melbourne Airport Ovpt., 2 x Royal Visit Ovpt., Eucharistic Conference Ovpt., Holey Dollar Ovpt. Set of 12 commemorative covers with different dates and towns around Australia and the same on Minisheets used with gum inc. Green Padded Album, Official Catalogue, Die Proofs of the unissued 1914 KGV 2d & 1/- Swan stamps, A $35 Season Ticket plus the 3 overprinted Ausipex Minisheets inc. the very rare FIP, the set of 4 overprinted 1982 Commonwealth Games minisheets, the overprinted Americas Cup PSE’s, the Official Auspex PSE & Airlettter, the mint minisheet x 4, the Benham Silk minisheet First Day Cover, plus many others. 43 items in all. 16. New Zealand & Ross Dependency FDC collection 1990 – 1997 in near new Blue 4 Ring Binder on quality pages. Commences 1990 Heritage Ships – 1997 Cattle, plus Ross Dep. 1990 & 1992 sets all on Official Unaddressed covers. Noted many booklet panes of 10 different, plus $20 definitive. All in all 29 covers which retail at anything up to $40 each! Fabulous lot, not many seen from this period. Retail easily $450  if sold individually. Price $249 (CF15)
 

17. World Miscellany early to modern, mainly postally used in 100 quality 4 strip dealer display cards with removable clear heavy duty cover. (Cost $95 alone to replace) Roughly 500 stamps with some duplication. Nice clean lot and very cheap at under the replacement cost of the cards…the stamps come free! Price $82.50 (CF16)
 

18. Worldwide Minisheets by weight! A long time since we had any of these. A mix of mint unhinged and cto used from a wide range of countries, spanning several decades. 75 to 100 sheets per 100g. Expect duplication in the larger lots above 250g, the 100g will be all different. Vrtually all good thematics. 100g for $69, 250g for $159, 500g $295, 1kg for $575 (CF17)
 

19. 1972 Munich Olympics, plus 1 for 1964 Tokyo. Wide range of First Day & Event Covers plus a few Maximum cards mostly from Germany but also Austria, Greece, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Romania, Turkey & Yugoslavia. All clean unaddressed Illustrated Covers. Most of these sell between $5 - $12.50 each, so priced very cheaply at $189 (CF18)
 

20. Air NZ 1965 set of 10 Official First Flight Covers for the DC8 service, inc. Sydney/Christchurch and return, plus American Samoa (8)  with flights from  Fiji, USA & NZ. All official with printed addresses. Many have pictorial cancels. Scarce assembly, cheap lot for $98 (CF19)
 

21. Winter Olympics 1924 – 1972 on Borek Hingeless pages with complete mint unhinged stamp & minisheet issues commemorating each year from the host countries etc. Just missing 1 low value stamp from Turkey. 29 issues & minisheets. Highly attractive & clean lot. Cheap at $92.50 (CF20)
 

22. Australia, massive collection in 2 near new large ring binders. Comprising a modest used collection 1980 to fairly recent on near new Hagners and Cover pages, plus FDC’s and PSE’s pretty much complete for the period 1980 – 1988 and a few more recent and includes some AAT. Weighs in at a hefty 4.3kg. The binders and pages alone would cost close to $200 to replace. Price $179 (CMJA1)
 

23. Australia PW Burgundy Padded FDC Album as new with slipcase Vol. 2, 1977 – 1984 with 50 pages, spaces for nearly 100 covers, new price $169 plus there are 29 un-addressed Post Office covers already in place for free! Under half price of the album alone at just $79 (CMJA2)
 

24. Three 32 page Lighthouse Stockbooks with huge lot of Papua New Guinea  inc. earlier with Birds of Paradise to 2/- mint, 1963 £1 QEII, 2 different 10K values etc, going up to about 2013, maybe a few later. Counted 300 plus sets mainly mint unhinged. There are some condition issues here such as gum toning and there but most are salvageable. Very, very cheap at under $1.50 per set, no huge amounts of duplication. Great value at $439 (CMJA5)
 

25. World letters A-B in black padded Australia Post Binder on 44 Hagners all as new, cost $90 alone. Wide range of mint & used, early to modern. Noted decent ranges of Algeria, Armenia mint imperfs., Ascension KGV mint to 8d, Austria, Azerbaijan mint imperfs., Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burundi & more. 800 – 1000 stamps, all different, odd condition issue as is usual in this type of lot, but much better than is usually seen. 35. Very useful World array in older Brown 32 page stockbook, some mint, mainly postally used early to modern. Strength in GB, Touva (Nice!), South Africa,  Australia, Spain and lots more. Nice clean lot, not a lot of duplication. 2250 – 2500 all up. Has to be worth 10c a stamp. $239 (CMO2)

Mostly Australian Territories & Pacifics mainly mint unhinged sets in Red Stockbook KGV - QEII, Red Papua New Guinea Seven Seas Hingeless Album 1952 – 1984 (As new, replacement cost $200 plus)  and in Brown as new padded Hagner binder on stack of 22 Hagner pages, replacement cost $60. Noted very good Christmas Is., Fiji, New Hebrides Papua New Guinea, Samoa plus some Nauru, Fiji & Gilbert & Ellice Is. About 150 complete sets including blocks of 4, minisheets & sheetlets etc.  A few condition issues in the Christmas Is., but overall a very good lot. Price $359 (CMO8)
 

37. New Zealand Queen Victoria – 1991 used collection in near new 32 page green Importa stockbook. Very good starter lot with 550 – 600 different stamps. Great starter lot for under 20c a stamp $110. (CMO12)
 

38. HM Queen Elizabeth II 60th Birthday 1986 Commonwealth Omnibus mint unhinged in Red & Silver padded special illustrated album. Commences with the 1953 Coronation set of GB, and the 60th Birthday set of 2 se-tenant pairs. Then sets and minisheet of the participating countries. Altogether 62 complete issues and 26 minisheets. The last few pages were adhered to each other at the top right corner and have been neatly separated. This does not affect the stamps, and is hardly noticeable. Very, very cheap at under $2.50 per set/minisheet. The lovely album comes free. Price $219 (CMO13)
 

39. Blue & Gold Wessex Padded Illustrated Album for the 1981 wedding of the now HM King Charles III and Lady Diana Spencer. Contains the omnibus issues for the Commonwealth plus extras, also the Royal Yacht sheetlets, Diana’s  21st Birthday, the Queen’s 60th Birthday and the Queen Mother’s 80th Birthday plus some other Royal events. All fresh Mint Unhinged apart from a few cto sets mainly  issued by foreign countries. 145 plus sets and 29 minisheets/sheetlets.  Very cheap price of  under $2.50 a set, the beautiful album comes free. 40. USA mostly used plus a few United Nations mostly used 1870 – 1996. Housed in as new superb heavy duty Importa Black leather look post fitting album with slipcase. With spaces for every stamp issued this collection is just ripe for expansion. Noted amongst many others, 1882 4c Red, 1890 4c Brown, 3c, 6c & 10c, 1894 15c Bllue, 1898 10c Trans Mississippi,  1901 Pan American 10c Ship mint, cat. £160 and much, much more. Also coil stamps, private perfimns inc. $5 Coolidge. 1936 – 1986 would be 80% complete. Very clean lot. Must be near 2000 or more, all different. 41. Omnibus issues in as new Burgundy padded binder on Hagner pages x about 40. Commences 1965 ICY, then 1965 ITU & 1966 UNESCO, all fresh mint unhinged, inc. minisheets. These are complete Crown Agents issues with many extras too, just excluding UNESCO Maldives. Priced to sell by leading Sydney dealer at $670, also Princess Diana memorial minisheets the 27 Crown Agents minisheets, value $135, plus the Hagners and binder worth another $95 new, $900 replacement value  all for $695. 49. South Africa and Homelands, 1988 – 1993 Mint Unhinged collection on Lighthouse Hingeless leaves. Lovely lot with a retail in excess of $830. Leaves are as new and cost approx. $480, so more than $1300 replacement value here. About 250 – 3000 sets, great thematic content. Price $749 (CMA1)

USA 1976/77 Superb Blue & Silver Leather Bound Padded Album containing Cacheted covers bearing stamps honouring the 1st 39 Presidents of the USA from George Washington to Jimmy Carter, each with illustrated text and facsimile signatures for each President. Plus a 2nd matching album for all of the 1st Ladies. Magnificently presented, and as new. Original cost close to $750. Price just 25% of that $187.50 (CMA2)
 

51. The Official Millennium Postal Cover Collection in Silver & Blue Binder, near new. Contains 24 Worldwide covers from 24 time-zones fully illustrated with Gold cachets and each dated 1st January 2000 with special pictorial cancels. Cost $400 when issued. 148. United States Forces in New Guinea, 1943 – 45. 15 covers & 1 front, most bear Australia 3d Brown KGVI postmarked Townsville Qld, but emanating from New Guinea. Most have boxed US Army Examiner censor marking, and with name & number of servicemen. Included are 2 x American Red Cross covers. Deployments include Milne Bay, Port Moresby, Admiralty Is., Goodenough Is., Finschhafen, Nadzab, Oro Bay, Dreyer Harbour & Dobodura. The Battle of Finschhafen was part of the Huon Peninsula campaign during World War II and was fought between Australian and Japanese forces. The fighting took place between 22 September and 24 October 1943 following the landing at Scarlet Beach, which was followed by a two-pronged advance on Finschhafen as the Australian 20th Infantry Brigade advanced on the town from the north, while the 22nd Infantry Battalion drove from the south, having advanced from the landing beaches east of Lae. After the capture of Finschhafen, the Japanese forces in the area withdrew towards Sattelberg where they sought to hold the Australians before launching a counteroffensive, which subsequently threatened the landing beach. This attack was repelled by American and Australian forces, with heavy casualties being inflicted on the Japanese. In the aftermath, the Australians went on the offensive, capturing Sattelberg, and then advancing towards the Wareo plateau. Dreger Harbour was used by Allied forces after the capture of Finschhafen in October 1943. Very good lot at $479 (COCT4)

Long registered Censored cover bearing full set of 1937 NSW Sesqui-Centenary plus 3d Cable, 6d Brown Airmail & ½d Orange Kangaroo & 4d Koala, total of 2/3½d. All cancelled by cds’s of Avoca Beach on 11th Sept 1944,  A Powerfully Symbolic Day – On September 11, 1944, The First US Troops Cross The Border Into Nazi Germany.  A 7-person patrol led by Sgt. Warner W. Holzinger of the 2nd Platoon, Troop B, 85th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, 5th Armored Division, crossed the river Our at Stolzembourg, Luxembourg and reached Keppeshausen. They studied the pillbox area, and returned safely to Stolzembourg at 18:50 having encountered no German military personnel. This was also the first advance through enemy lines in Germany. THE DAY OF ADOLF HITLER’S SUICIDE!  On April 30, 1945, holed up in a bunker under his headquarters in Berlin, Adolf Hitler commits suicide by swallowing a cyanide capsule and shooting himself in the head. Soon after, Germany unconditionally surrendered to the Allied forces, ending Hitler’s dreams of a “1,000-year” Reich. Price $395

207. Iceland 1876 - 1957. Very nice collection on 20 Hagner pages in near new Red Padded Hagner Binder. Most postally used with some mint. High degree of completion with a catalogue price of £3270 in SG Simplified Stamps of the World. However, there are many shades and perf. variations here that would bring that up to around £4000. Vary good value at around 30% cat. $2225 (CMM16)
