APH36) Australia 1931 6d Brown Airmail. Small neat typed address Airmail First Day Cover. Cancelled by full cds of Perth 4NO31 to Carnarvon. Opened at top suggests this may be an Accidental First Day Cover, as it is not inscribed in any way. If this is the case, then it overpays the airmail rate by 1d. Cat. A very rare cover, cat. $700, price $495.
