- Page from the Feb 27, 1864 edition, showing three steel engravings of 'Floods at Melbourne, Australia' depicting 'Emerald Hill, from the suburban railway', St Kilda Rd, south of Prince's Bridge' and 'Punt Rd, Richmond' with half a column on the reverse detailing the situation of 'the river (Yarra) having risen 50 feet' and 'Hobson's Bay railway was stopped, the lines on all it's branches being several feet under water' some spotting & minor damage.
